Wanting to bite into raw cookie dough
Licking pancake batter
Boiling edible blue clay and actually eating it
Being inexplicably drawn to jet-black sweets—
There are certain "combinations" and "colors" that inexplicably attract us,
even if we can't explain why.
The contrast of black and blue.
The moment when heaviness and lightness, depth and sweetness, rise simultaneously.
That coexistence is strangely addictive.
One symbol of this was a certain black cookie.
I still remember the shock when the "crushed black" first melted into the ice cream.
That deliciousness that explodes when mixed with dairy products, even more so than on its own.
That balance where the presence of black stands out, riding on the potential of white.
That feeling when poison and milk are forcibly harmonized.
I've always been captivated by that precarious rhythm.
And on days like today,
"only on days when I have to use my brain,
my desire to overwrite my thoughts with sweetness appears."
It's similar to escapism, but there are definitely moments when it brings relief.
Blue Noir cream was born from such an impulse.
That strange sense of happiness that only arises when black and cream mix,
We constructed it by likening the scattered blue and white to countless stars,
and the absorbing noir to an expanding universe.
Even though it's complete on its own,
there are "things that only shine when combined."
This is a work that incorporates that structure of taste and mind into MonoVerse.
