The scenery I once took for granted
Flows away like seeping ink, as if it were all an illusion.
Before long, even that becomes the norm,
And change always arrives suddenly, without a sound.
When overwhelmed to the point of losing myself,
That flower too, appears without warning.
I make a wish upon the ominous single bloom at my feet.
It gives nothing. It nurtures nothing.
Yet, to seek it, to let it wither, or to find its beauty,
It is all up to me.
A mirror flower, a deceptive flower,
Blooming in emptiness, faintly reflecting the shape of hope.
For that very last sheet,
I write repeatedly, staining my palms black, then fold the paper.
Until the moment I greet the last scenery I will ever see,
I will walk hand-in-hand with peril, living in search of hope.
On the paper of such a life, I gently let the scent of ink seep in,
Lighting a faint color, a tale of ink flowers.
